About Lakou Danto Botanica
The Heart Of The Lakou
At the heart of Lakou Danto is Bon Ougan Pasyans, a spiritual practitioner whose path is deeply connected to ancestry, culture, discipline, and the preservation of traditional knowledge.
At just 28 years old, with 12 years of initiation and spiritual practice, his journey began with a calling to understand not only the visible world, but the traditions, ancestors, and spiritual foundations that came before him.
His heritage carries Congo roots through his mother’s side, with his father’s lineage coming from Okap, Ayiti. His journey has brought him through both cultural traditions, allowing him to carry and honor the knowledge of his ancestral roots while continuing the work of those who came before him.
Two Roots. One Mission.
Lakou Danto was created as more than a botanica. It is a living expression of heritage a place where tradition, spirituality, nature, community, and knowledge meet.
The purpose is simple:
To carry the lineage forward.
To preserve what was entrusted to us.
To teach what can be taught.
And to keep the flame alive for the generations ahead.
Every drum, candle, herb, prayer, symbol, and ceremony carries a story. Every generation has a responsibility to decide whether that story ends with them—or continues.
